I based this check list off the turtle head multiplication youtube video. This method helps students who are struggling with multi-digit multiplication algorithms. Most students confused the multiplication algorithm with the addition algorithm. This is a great and FUN way for students to grasp the concept. I made this checklist to include key vocabulary as well like : carried number, one's place, ten's place, zero, and partial products

Students in first and second grade often confuse the hour hand and minute hand on an analog clock. This guide sheet will help show the students that the hour hand is short like a turtle and the minute hand is long like the ears on a rabbit. Fill in the text and digital time to match the analog clock on the sheet.

Differentiated by interest. Students will be given one and two digit numbers and asked to write a multiplication or division sentence using a variable. All the numbers are the same in each problem, but the wording is different for each page depending on the student's interest. The interests included are:
