Along with the handout, I have created a powerpoint explaining the directions the turtle moves each day and how many spaces. Getting Started with TurtleStitch!
My students love Turtle Stitch! This handout was created for my Middle School classes grades 6-8. It gives an overview of creating embroidery patterns in TurtleStitch.org which can later be exported to an embroidery machine. It includes a link to the video tutorial I created as well as some code samples to get started. It does not include a tutorial for exporting to an embroidery machine, but the code written in the tutorial is ready to export if you choose.
