Purpose: To build customized linear systems worksheets, that require pencil to paper but minimize the chance of a student finding answers on the Internet. Features: You can print thousands of worksheets/quizzes that are fresh with unique problems, and even have a version for every student in the classroom. Excel must be installed on your computer already, but this will be user friendly. In fact, you don't have to be familiar with Excel to use this program.
At the push of a button this spreadsheet automatically randomly generates new worksheets (and an updated key) for what we call "mad minutes."
Mad minutes consists of 20 arithmetic problems that students are to complete at a relatively quick pace without a calculator. The purpose is to increase numeracy and automaticity. I've even used these in Calculus to enhance students' number sense.
I can add other worksheets/functionality if requested and I will release updates free of charge.
Contains pictures of, and the formulas for volume and surface area of cones, square based pyramids, cylinders, cubes, rectangular prisms, and spheres. Best used for student reference!
I use this with my technology integration classes when we begin spreadsheets. I've adapted it a bit so that you can use it in print version or you can use it in spreadsheet version. Spreadsheets use A, B, C for their column names and 1, 2, 3 for their row names so this is created with those coordinates in mind.
