Gravity is a force of attraction between two objects. Gravity increases with the combined mass of the objects and decreases with the distance between them. In this activity, students are asked to analyze a table of the masses of planets, moons, and the distances between them. Students are asked to find planet-moon pairs that are likely to have the greatest gravitational attraction. The product is designed for middle-school general science and introductory physics.
