Start the class in an organized way with a warm-up question. Each day students walk in, take out their warm-up sheet and begin working. This step in the beginning of my class has transformed students' focus throughout the lesson. I copy the warm-up sheet double sided so that, students have one warm-up sheet for two weeks. I collect the warm-up sheet at the end of the two weeks to check for completion. I count the warm-up sheets as one quiz grade. If the student completes their warm-up each day,
