Customary Measurement Foldable is a three-flap foldable that can be used in a math interactive notebook or as a separate graphic organizer. Students can use it to take notes when learning about customary measurement. To create the foldable, print the two pages back to back. Fold in half on the vertical dotted line and cut the solid lines to form flaps. Students can lift up each flap and fill in the basic conversion units during your lesson. I was searching and searching for a cut and paste activity for parts of a graph and couldn't find one, so I made it.
This has the parts of a line graph and bar graph as well as the definition for both.
The parts include:
Title
x-axis
y-axis
Scale
Increments
It will be free for a bit, which means I am presently working to add worksheets for both graphs, a patterns worksheet for the line graph, data collection sheets and interactive notebook additions that will include tally marks, and more.
With STAAR being online students need all the extra support. Supplemental aids to the rescue! Each aid is TEA-approved for STAAR testing. This is one version you can try out with your students. Not only do I use these as a complete packet during STAAR. I practice with these all year. Great help to students.
