This is a day's lesson to set up an IB Learner Traits Profile Journal to use with students over the course of an entire year, semester, as homework each night, as an activator in class, for structured free-write time, as introduction to character traits, to IB Learner Traits, and etc. Included are an activator, mini lesson, activity, extension activity, wrap up, Common Core Anchor Standard, and a list of seven writing prompts for each of the ten IB Learner Profile Traits to get you started. Help young learners build, spell, and write their names! You will need lamination and Velcro for this project. -Copy and paste letters to the first row of boxes in the “Read it” line. -Copy and paste letters to a blank page to cut out letters to be Velcroed on the “Build it” line. -Delete or copy and paste boxes to add or eliminate to change length of name. -Place strip of Velcro across bottom gray line to put the letters when they are not in the “Build it” boxes and on gray boxes in the “B
