This graphic organizer has been a game changer when it comes to teaching metric conversions! I have students use colored pencils or markers to complete the chart with measurements (red for capacity, blue for length, and green for weight.) Then, students use an object (eraser, pompom, decimal cutout) to physically move the decimal from one measurement to the other. I explain how to do this in the video preview.
