Numbers in Word Form

In fourth grade my students are constantly asking me how to spell numbers during our place value unit. Instead of telling them to try their best or wasting time spelling them out, I created this sheet! This way the students who might struggle reading the words have a number representation and all the words are spelled right there for them! I give this to them and have them glue it in their math notebooks or keep it in their math folder. Great to use in addition to Daily Math Quizzes!!

This resource has been very successful in my classroom to motivate students to track their progress. You can print this as one sheet or two to a page for a smaller tracker. Students keep this in their journals, folders, or desks and each morning I go through the puzzle progress and students color to the percent they are at. It's fast, easy, and effective!

When working with pla
