This is the 101 guide to basic tenets of AAC success. I've seen well intentioned therapists, teachers, and parents crash and burn over and over again with AAC because they made a mistake in its teaching, so I decided to put this together with the basic information needed to keep that from happening! At the bottom I also included links to myth busting research about AAC. It's a Word document, so if I left out something near and dear to your heart, feel free to just add it before you give it out!
