Partner Interviews & Introductions

This is a great icebreaker and public speaking activity for the beginning of the year in Drama. Students must think of and write down 10 important things about their lives. Then randomly pair up the class (I usually had them line up in birth order - month & day - then I sent them off 2 at a time to talk to each other and share). They should NOT just read from their list! They should talk and have a conversation. They should ask questions. They might be surprised what they have in common.
