Restauranteur Math Project (6-7th grade)
Use your knowledge of percents and decimals to model real-life events in a restaurant setting. Included: - GRASPS layout -Scaffolded research project Part 1 is researching, part 2 is determining location and sales tax, part 3 is the budget to operate the restaurant successfully, and part 4 is a presentation. I use this with my 6th graders after decimal operations.
