Transcription and Translation Activity: "From DNA to Proteins" using sentences
In this activity, you will simulate the processes of transcription and translation by converting a DNA sequence into mRNA and then translating that sequence into a polypeptide chain in the form of a sentence. Each amino acid will be assigned a word, and once the sequence is translated, you will use a codon-amino acid chart to decode the message and build a sentence.
