This lab involves using paper plates as "lakes" and swedish fish candy as the common resource. The students will "fish" for the resource using straws over 6 fishing seasons. Each season the fish double in number from all that are left. Each student must catch at least one fish to survive. If more than half the fish are taken then the number decreases each season and the commons are depleted. Good and quick lab that can be finished in one class and really gets the point across!
