Slope Challenge!
This project is a fun and challenging way to encourage students to work as a team to create an ultimate incline that will roll a go-cart the farthest distance. The students will need to use their knowledge of slope as well as their creativity to design the perfect incline. Through trial and error students will deepen their understanding of how to calculate slope. Give your students the opportunity to collaborate, have fun, and make meaning of important foundational level math standards!
