Students will use their knowledge of multiplication to plan a bowling party for themselves and 3 of their friends.
Use the website of an actual bowling alley to collect information about cost and select food choices from an online menu.
Students must stay within a budget and create a written report as the final project.

Project Based Learning- Wedding Cookie Table Planning (Multiplication)
Students will pretend they are wedding planners and help the bride and groom plan for their wedding cookie table. Read about the Pittsburgh-based tradition within the project and use websites of local bakeries to develop price quotes for the client. Students must use multiplication and online tools to complete this activity.

This worksheet gives students choice during math. Math problems are grouped based on difficulty (sugar, spicy, picante) and the amount to do is also indicated.
I typically put the type problems we have already learned in the sugar section, today's learning in the spicy section, and tomorrow's learning in the picante section.

Arrays on the Farm
After learning about arrays, repeated addition, and multiplication, students can use their creative skills to design a farm while reviewing their math standard. They design animal cages/pens based on the number of rows and columns and record the repeated addition problem and multiplication problem within the cage. Great review activity!
