The learner will use this hands on activity to recognize lines of symmetry by cutting 15 figures, fold them to find its lines of symmetry and paste them in groups depending on the number of lines of symmetry each figure has. By manipulating and folding each figure to discover its lines of symmetry, the student will bring the abstract concept of symmetry to an easy manipulative concrete figure. For each card, they will draw picture(if one is not given), write a proportion, solve and write their answer in a sentence.
