Year Long Student Height Book- Measurement

This is a year long project that I used with first, second, and third graders in my Montessori classroom. The first day students are measured on a height chart that I have on the wall. They decorate their cover page and color in their height in inches on the bar graph. I designate one day as "Measuring Day" and the kids look forward to that day. Stock Market Graphs

Students use their skills to track and interpret trends with at least 3 current companies. They collect data on stock price for two weeks, graph the information, then make predictions about what they think will happen based on the trends. Great for use in finance and investment classes, math, or science to collect and analyze data. I used this in my middle school RTI classes for project-based learning.
