If there is one activity I use everyday with math centers, it is Count and Write the Room! This activity increases student achievement with number fluency for numbers 1-20. To Assemble: Print and Laminate Owls. Hang owls around your classroom. Print a recording sheet for each student. Give students a clipboard and an answer sheet. Students will move around the room, counting the ten frames found on the Irish Owls, and then record how many on their recording sheets.
