Coding language used may be similar to Python, but most questions are written in a ‘pseudocode’ format. We created this resource to mimic the coding style of the EQAO sample questions while being able to address other mathematics topics in the course. Each coding questio

CRACK THE TEST CO. — 8th Grade Math Transformations, Congruence, and Similarity

Here is the problem most students have with transformations: they confuse the axes for reflections, they apply rotation rules backwards, and they cannot explain the difference between congruent and similar when asked to write it out. On LEAP, describing a sequence of transformations is one of the hardest question types — and most students have never been taught the exact language the rubric requires. This bundle teaches all four standards in one package, with the five coordinate rules front and

Math Angles Board Game Instructions (and Rubric/Turn-In Checklist!)

Hi! I'm Abby. I've been a teacher for 8 years and I was recently looking for a final project where my students use their knowledge of angle types and measurements. My students love using their protractors and this was a fun, creative spin to do instead of a final formative assessment.Instead of finding a project, I made my own! The objective of this project is for students to work with a partner to draw angles, label them, design and build a creative board game using their knowledge of angle typ

This document is 4 pages long...each page is the exact same rubric. Print one page normal size and slip into a sheet protector for students to self-assess with a dry erase marker. Print 4 to a page and cut apart to grade students and attach to their work.
