I use this sheet in my class to allow students to use a hands-on activity thats lets me assess if they understand the concept of short and long. I give each child a set of paper some short and some long, giving them two of each color and one being longer and one shorter. The students then have to decide which one is long and which one is short. Once they have them sorted they glue them down onto the paper. It is simple and easy and is a great assesment tool!
