Chi Square Lab for AP Biology

I use this activity to introduce chi square to my students in AP Biology. It scaffolds their learning so that we walk through the definitions and basic concepts, then dive right into practice problems. We used AP biology examples, M & M color distributions, and practice genetics problems to understand how to calculate and use the chi square value.
