Bivariate Data: Regression Lines
In this project, students explore relationships between two quantitative variables by collecting their own real-world bivariate dataset. After organizing the data, students will represent it using multiple graphical displays, including a histogram and a scatterplot, and analyze patterns or trends that appear. Using statistical tools, students will calculate the least-squares regression line, correlation coefficient, and residuals to evaluate the strength and form of the relationship. The project
