This is an original story that could be used in a Montessori elementary classroom. It would be used to introduce or compare lower case letters in print, in cursive, capital letters, and phonograms. Through a story format, the children learn and remember the letters’ sounds, names, and what they say when they are “working with” combinations of letters, especially combinations of the vowels.

Three packs, each with eighteen different dinosaurs, plus three key cards. Fifty-seven cards in total. Oh my gosh, the children love these cards, and have started to use them with self-chosen work with the Moveable Alphabet. They line them up (well down, actually), and then write their names with the cursive Moveable Alphabet. It takes them most of the morning.
