This Cheat Sheet was made for students to focus on the basic fraction to percent, to decimal conversions. I would have the students memorize it andquiz them on it the following week.
This quiz is a quick formative assessment on ratios, rates, and unit rates specifically triggered to sixth grade under the Ratios and Proportional Relationships unit. The quiz is ten questions and all multiple choice.
This is an 8 question review worksheet for ratios, proportions andpercents. It includes fractions and algorithms.
Students will be challenged in their thinking as they complete this activity. It is a great review or pretest tool.

This project is a great addition to any unit involving percent, decimal, and fraction conversions. You can add in pre-determined numbers for low students and have higher level students create their own percentages. I love that is adds an element of creativity and art to math!
One and Two Step Equations word Problems. A lot of my 8th graders still really struggle with setting up word problems- so I used this as a review. It could also be used in 6th and 7th grade.

This is a short lesson to review improper fractions and mixed numbers, and then to use those numbers in division problems. I used the context of making the keys of a marimba (xylophone-like instrument) to allow students to work through these problems.
The lesson includes links to videos of children playing marimbas, a warm-up, the lesson, and an exit ticket question. This can also be used as a formative assessment to help determine students' abilities with these topics.
This sheet combines the "how to" and examples for basic math computations including converting percent to decimals, rounding, decimals, fractions, mean, etc.
I would provide this sheet to my students at the start of the school year and require they keep it in their binders. This was a great resource to look back on and consult throughout the year.
