Mixed Number Addition - Like Denominators - Turtle Coloring Puzzle
Here is a fun worksheet for practicing adding mixed numbers with like denominators. Kids solve the problems and then color the turtle's shell based on the answers, which helps them catch some of their own mistakes. Fractions are so important that I'm always looking for more opportunities to get children to practice. This activity is both fun and meaningful. Makes a great math center activity.
