These converters provide a hands-on tool to be used with standard fraction circles. (Fraction circles not provided.) By placing a fraction piece onto the converter tools, the student will be able to determine equivalent decimals and percents. For example, when placing the 1/4 fraction pie piece onto the fraction to percent converter, the student will be able to see that 1/4 = 25%. This is a precursor to understanding fractions on a more abstract level.
