At the beginning, this piece moves through different time signatures to make counting so interesting. I think piano students should always be engaging in good counting as they play. This is a piece that invites them to do that! It starts in 5/8, then 6/8 and then into 2/4 to the end. The 2/4 section should be played in a steady beat with a jazz feel. So much fun to play!
