This note for excusing an absence is written in English and Spanish so that both the office and the primarily Spanish speaking family can understand it. It will eliminate the teacher having to translate the excuse note written in Spanish so that the office can understand why the child was absent and the family struggling to write a note in English for the school's benefit.
