Edit and use this letter to send home as a cover letter for your MAP review of skills packet. We've found that giving parents a resource helps students review skills according to MAP test results. This is an opportunity for students to get their minds thinking about a wide range of standards and goals.

Monthly Math Facts Calendar and Letter

I developed this Letter and Calendar to motive students to practice their math facts at home each night! It works in much the same way that Reading Logs work for Language Arts. Students must track their nightly minutes practing math facts and parents must sign. This helps hold students and parents accountable for practice at home. The letter and calendar are completely able to be editted to look and read how you wish.

I made these username and password cards so my students could independently use the technology lab. I plan to fill in student information, cut them out, and laminate them. They will then be made available to students when they are ready to use the classroom, media center, or technology lab computers. They could also be sent home so students could assess internet resources after school.
