This affords a vehicle for teachers to use for developing 3D spatial skills. This appears difficult and in the latter cases of the problems, it is a mental puzzle. However, I used to MODEL and work these with my self-contained 5th grade class, and they can do it. There are recommendations. The teacher must practice until they are extremely adept at the process. I strongly recommend using interlocking cube blocks to build these isometric three (3) Dimensional figures PRIOR to working them ment

International Pi Day Approximating pi Math Activities - high school activity

Students come up with their own approximation for pi. 2. They then look at historical approximations and find the accuracy of them. 3. They then see how accurate their .calculator gives pi to. Oh and it's for pi day (3/14) but feel free to use it whenever. If you use .it, please review it.
