These cards are meant to "catch" the good behaviors we see in students that too often fail to get acknowledged. These cards were used toward the end of the school year. We had random (secret) reward times once a week where we took the students outside for an extra 20 min. recess and a little treat. We wanted students to strive to earn these rewards and think more about behavior choices. We found that our numbers did in fact increase each week. Homework Expectations Letter
With the new standards and Engage NY/Eureka Math curriculum I have had many concerned/angry parent emails. Math teachers get all the complaints! This Expectations letter helps parents and students understand their role when doing homework. It also has a whole page of online resources that I use with my families. Super easy Thank You for parents coming to Open House. All you have to dois buy poprcorn in the microwaveable bags, print the sheets, cut them in half, and use one piece of tape for each child. Super cute!

Brochure for beginning of the year - Frogs
This is a brochure for parents to be distributed at the beginning of the year. It is an A to Z overview of the procedures for your classroom. It was created in Microsoft Publisher so you can change/delete/add text and graphics as long as you can bring Publisher up on your computer. It is a frog theme but can be changed to any theme. The frog theme may not translate to your computer if you do not have the font but I have used it with the plain letters and it is just as cute.

I use this template to print directly on post-it notes using my printer at home. It's a great way to send home reminders, or positive feedback to parents that will catch their eye. Simply stick the post-it notes over the outlines and then insert one sheet at a time into the printer to print. This is a Microsoft Publisher file.
