For this activity, problems 1-3 provide a visual representation of fractions on a number line. Not only do students have to identify the fraction on the number line, but they also must choose the correct answer that correlates with the picture and is equal to the decimal.
Problems 4-6 provide a visual representation of a fraction circle and students must find the decimal that correlates with that fraction

Create blueprints and/or floor plans for your own dream home!!
Your little architects will love dreaming big with this project. Using their imaginations and graph paper, they will create their own blueprints.They will be learning area, measurement and perfecting those problem solving and critical thinking skills. The bonus is they won't even know it because they will be having fun.
This project is very "real life" oriented.
For the younger grades this would be better for the GT students. Or
