Will it Float or Sink? An Experiment (Editable!)
This science experiment is an easy activity for students to practice the scientific skills of predicting and classifying while learning about buoyancy. Students will make predictions, learn new vocabulary, and classify objects based on whether they float or sink. I've left the objects blank so that you can use anything that you have on hand. At the end of the activity students predict whether a peeled or unpeeled orange will float or sink. I hope your students enjoy practicing the skills needed

This was used as an end of unit assessment for students to show what they learned about plants. Students list the what plants needs, the parts of a flower, four steps in the life cycle of a plant, and draw their favorite plant. Fine Motor Skills Apple Tree Play Doh Mats
Children use red, yellow, green, or any available play-doh for this fine-motor development activity. They roll small bits of doh between their fingers to make "apples." Then, they place the play-doh balls on the apple trees in the blank spots. Play continues until all apples are on the tree.
