Small group Skills Tracker (editable) FREE

This is a great tool to gather quick and easy data for your small groups. I like to use it for encoding and decoding. I write the group name and days I am seeing them at the top. Students name on the side and the skills I am working with them on across the top. Then I just out a check if they where able to get the skills write. This is helpful for me to capture quick and easy data for progress monitoring and to drive my instruction for the next time I see that group. Hope this is helpful.

Wooden cubes and spatial imagination.

Playing and working with wooden cubes is one way of developing children’s spatial imagination. If we combine it with drawing, we have a very good activity for a lesson. Content (more than 20 problems in 8 tasks): 1. Drawing solids built up from cubes. 2. Encoding and decoding solids in two different ways. 3. Fully detailed answer key (4 pages). It is easy to change, swap or add exercises. Children can work, discover and draw in their own way and at their own pace with or without wooden cubes.
