This is a self-assessment rubric for students to evaluate their own writing (primary grades). This format has 2 sheets per page.
It is a Word document so that you can edit the criteria students will check themselves on.
Currently it has:
-My sentences start with a capital letter.
-Every sentence ends with a period, question mark, or exclamation point.

Short and sweet, this rubric allows you and your students to quickly evaluate a week's worth of daily personal journal entries. Fluency, Communication, and Legibility are scored to emphasize the flow of ideas and keep your students accountable for writing.
This is a Word document, so you can add dates and change the inspirational quote as often as you like.
