This is a simple introduction activity for Kindergarten or 1st grade Gifted and Talented students to a Renaissance artists unit. Students cut out characteristic cards and paste them into the columns of "Renaissance Artist" or "Ninja Turtle." I usually use this as our first activity as we get into the artists, so this is not an incredibly difficult task.

During March we cover a unit that delves into the real meaning behind some of Seuss' poems. In Yertle the Turtle there are many references and similarities to the Holocaust and the struggles.
