Algebra and crosswords may seem like an odd combo, but it actually works out pretty well. Here in the first of a series of 15 X 15 algebra crossword puzzles. In this one, the two simultaneous equations are X + Y = 16, X - Y = 4, and the solution is X = 10, Y = 6. The level of difficulty of the clues is geared to grades 7-12.
