A list of 60 French idiomatic expressions and their English translations to be used upon entry into class as a warm up. Along with 10 quizzes to verify understanding.
How I used it?
I had one on the board each day and as students came in, they would copy it down and note the translation. Then they would write a French sentence using it correctly in some context. We would share some or all of these sentences just at the start of the class. Every 5 classes, we had a little re

Grammar Practice: PC vs IMP and reflexive
This practice has several paragraphs where students need to utilize context clues to determine whether a verb should be in the passé composé or the imparfait verb tense, and then choose the correct conjugation. There is also some practice with reflexive verbs, only the context is only within one sentence and there is also the possibility of the present tense. Quiz: subjunctive conjugation
For this quiz, students simply need to prove their ability to conjugate a verb to the subjunctive mood; they do not need to know yet how to use it properly. Since the emphasis is placed on proper conjugation (since in my experience, it gets easily mixed up with the present and the imperfect), I added conjugation tables for the irregular verbs. Students need to be able to properly identify which verb stem to begin their conjugations with.

French Christmas Vocabulary and Colors Presentation / Game Cards
This fun-filled PowerPoint gives students practice with both French colors and French vocabulary related to Christmas and winter holidays. Included at the end of the presentation are pictures of the vocabulary words that the teacher can print out, mount on paper, and use to play classroom games such as Memory (print duplicates), "Qu'est-ce qui manque?", Buzz and Mother Goose.

French Physical Descriptions
Nothing fancy, but three pages:
1. Chart with some physical descriptions and an image to label at the bottom.
2. A modeled 'Guess Who'/'Qui est-ce' which culminates in them presenting orally for the class to guess.
3. A sheet to fill out descriptions of three people for a partner to guess.
Sheet #2&3 can be done by just describing people in the class, or I use the free QUI EST-CE document found here.

Qui suis-je?
A back to school or end of year activity. Students anonymously fill out the sheet and once done, the teacher assigns a number to each student's work. They then post the sheets all around the room and students do a "gallery walk" reading each description and writing their guess of who the student is on a separate numbered sheet. Take up the activity by revealing each students' number and whomever has identified everyone correctly, wins.
