Learn the period table of elements hands on! There is one card for each element on the periodic table of elements, as well as a matching control chart. The simplest way I like to use these cards is to have the student lay out the cards on the floor to recreate the periodic table of elements. For fun, I also like to print a second set of the cards and play a game of memory or have a group of students play "Go Fish" with the elements. This is a fun activity to use to review the Periodic Table. I have used it with gifted students who were very motivated to see who could spell the longest word using the Periodic Table. This product consists of 7 spelling units, each with an answer key. It could also be used for homework or as an activity to leave for a substitute teacher.
