Micro:Bit Live Display As a STEAM educator it is annoying that I can't show what's on my Micro:Bit's screen easily on a computer. This python file allows you to simply do just that. If you don't know what python is, learn that first, then come back here :) Notes on usage: - Connect Micro:Bit (always the port labelled as "embed serial") before running the file - You will need tkinter and serial packages - Not tested on macs or linux machines

Join Sweet T the sea turtle as she learns how to recycle properly. The activity can be used as a handout or on the Smart Board. Students will sort the garbage into the 3 recycle cans at the bottom of the page. This activity can also be used with the story Sweet T's Sea Turtle Rescue available on Amazon. I have attached a powerpoint which can be opened either in google slides or office 365. This is typically a class group activity. I typically use white boards and split my class into groups of 3 or 4. I then go through the slides and explain the rules. I show the problem and student groups have to work together to find what the output or fix will be. Once they're done with their answer, boards go face down.
