From 1989 to 1991, Tupac Shakur was busy establishing his career as a performing artist. He was recording, studying poetry and also working as a backup dancer. His debut album, 2Pacalypse Now came out in 1991. It is poetic and depicts individual black male socioeconomic struggles. The next album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z was even bigger.
