If you have studied fractions, try this Fraction Hunt, a fun way to practice. I love to do this around the holidays. It is perfect for Earth Day, but will work for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, too. First, hide a candy bar somewhere in the room under a map, atlas, globe, or picture of the earth that includes the South Pole. Students must decode the message by figuring out the fractional parts of the words given and find the candy. They have lots of fun trying to be the first one done
