First Day of School/Class Quiz

I teach K-8 Spanish. I use this quiz each year with my 6th graders to help remind them to READ and follow directions before doing anything. It reviews REALLY basic Spanish, but it's true purpose is to help students read and follow directions. It is a Word document and can be modified for your classroom even if you don't teach Spanish.

This is an editable rubric for student anchorpersons (video announcements/school news production). My students create a vodcast of the morning announcements every day, and I use this rubric to assess their skills. This is editable for a reason! You can add your own lines, delete mine, or just change the phrasing. You can also remove the grading and points portion and just use as a formative assessment to be handed back the student immediately after the recording.
