Students simply cut out the picture squares, then match the answers on each picture to the space on the grid. The image squares are then pasted in this grid position. When all of the squares are pasted into place, a picture will appear, therefore self-correcting. This resources consists of 5 resources (across 14 pages/slides). These resources focus on the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes and make links to shape within our environment. The powerpoint also includes a quiz and optional task to teach 2D shape. This could easily be adapted for the teaching of 3D shapes. There is also a worksheet with questions on 3D shape nets - more suitable for upper school students or more advanced pupils.
