This product was designed with Building Thinking Classrooms in mind. These two tasks are designed for a low floor high ceiling assignment or thin sliced lesson plan. This could be used for a lesson on converting between word form, expanded form and standard form. Students are encouraged to write numbers in as many forms as they can think of. The lesson starts with answers with answers and ends with two open ended answers. This would be a great activity for a Formative Assessment and/or Exit Tic
