This is a fill-in-the-blank worksheet (with a Word Bank) to use when learning about the Scientific Method and/or before doing an experiment. It includes the terms hypothesis, demonstration, experiment, research, conclusion, and Scientific Method.
I created these anchor charts for use in my classroom to teach the steps of the scientific method. I laminated the cards and put magnetic tape on the back of them so they stick to my white board. Enjoy this freebie! :)
Can be used in a "does it sink or float" experiment where the students predict whether an object will float or sink and then test the object in the experiment and record what happened. There is also an area for students write a description as to why they think some of the objects float and some sink.
