Quick quiz to test how well students can convert between fractions, decimals, and percentages. This is a .DOC file, which means you are free to edit as you wish! Can easily be a quick homework and class assignment and not a quiz if you want to change the title.
This study sheet takes the worry out of FDP. Take away answers for a quick quiz. Students can see patterns and can develop automaticity quickly with this study guide.
This resource can help students who have a hard time memorizing the benchmark fractions and their corresponding decimal andpercent. Fractions included are: 1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 3/4, 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10, and 1/12.
My students love task cards! They are actively sharing with a partner and moving from desk to desk.
These task cards include 7 of each: Percents to Fraction and Decimal; Decimal to Percentand Fraction; Fraction to Percentand Decimal; and Comparing Fractions to Decimals. Also included are 2 recording sheets.
I use them as a whole group activity but they can be easily used in stations, intervention grouping, and review for advanced learners. Enjoy!

Student will design a state park design. They have to follow the instructions of others that want a percentage of the park to be a playground or a fraction of the park to be a garden. They have to color in a 10x10 grid to display their park, convert all of the numbers between fractions, decimals, andpercents, and they must write a letter to argue why their park should be picked.
Shared math lesson, using the chart displaying the equivalent fraction, decimal andpercent. With students go through steps a and b to determine exactly how to reduce all fractions to their lowest form. Doing this several times in a guided math lesson, using either chart paper or a smart board students will begin to grasph how to reduce them using multiples. Have students complete the worksheet/chart to practice these skills, and showing the equivalent percentand decimal to match the given frac
This spreadsheet is a simple calculator that allows the user to enter in either a fraction, a decimal or a percentand the calculator will produce the equivalent fractions, decimals and/or percents. The entire workbook is protected except the cells where the user enters the fraction, decimal or percent that they would like converted into its equivalent forms. The protected sheet ensures that no formulas are accidentally deleted when the user is interacting with the calculator.
This worksheet contains 5 examples of conversions. Students color in blocks in the diagram, then figure out the fraction, decimal, andpercent that it represents. (Denominators are basic, around a 4th grade level)
This worksheet is useful for practice with decimals andpercents using applied mathematics based on retail sales and business. Useful for grades 5-8, pre-algebra, and basic adult or high school business math.

Fractions, decimals, percents review (can be done synchronously or asynchronously). This PowerPoint takes students through a review with original videos showing how to convert fractions, decimals, and percentages with quick check reviews and an opportunity for you to link an assessment (Google Form or otherwise) at the end to check their understanding.
During our decimals unit (and after our fractions unit), I gave my 5th graders this fun activity. It allows them to practice turning fractions into decimals into percents by:
1) simplifying fractions to "easy" fractions (like 3/4),
2) making the fraction out of 100
3) dividing the numerator by the denominator
This was a great activity because it challenged the kids, provided a fun activity, and gave them great fraction, decimal, and even statistics practice! The kids loved doing this!
This is a short quiz to assess your students on adding and subtracting decimals. They will need to pay attention to decimal placement. There is also some problems written in word form.
