This is a great tool to build addition fluency in elementary students! My students practice using the flash cards through out the week (with a partner), then see how quickly they remember their addition facts. Once they have timed themselves, or a partner has timed them, I will set a timer for 1 minute to see how many facts they can solve! To differentiate this activity, students can answer the addition problems horizontally or vertically!
