This is a documentary about the Youth World Championship tournament for the card game Bridge. It's an interesting look into the tournament scene of bridge. It discusses the age problem the game has, where most of the players are seniors. Bridge has had a hard time attracting young people in recent decades, unlike chess and go, which have had resurgences. Students should already know how to play bridge before watching the documentary. This is a great documentary chronicling the early life of Magnus Carlsen, the highest ranked chess player of all time. The documentary follows his life from toddler age through his 2013 world championship win. There is an interesting underlying theme of human versus machine in the section about the championship match which is especially relevant in today's AI discussions.
